I whipped up this bird nest necklace at my last Girls Day Out, and it's one of my new favorite pieces of everyday jewelry. It only took a few minutes, but it always catches people's eye. I've gotten so many compliments on it! I just sort of made it up as I went along, but there's a fantastic tutorial at Sarah Ortega Photography (via Tip Junkie) that shows you step-by-step how you can create one of your own.
